Today was a pretty crappy day since we had both a thermo test and a materials quiz. I spent all morning making a crib sheet for the exam and cramming until we headed to class. The worst part was that the first half of the thermo was just a normal lecture and then we took the exam. The exam was a lot easier than it could have been but it was just a stretch for the amount of time. I got really flustered because he kept making corrections without announcing them and then I would have to go back and change things, which really threw me off. That was pretty frustrating but it did make me feel a little better when I thought about the fact that I just have to pass the class.
With that we had to book it to get to materials on time where we instantly started in on the quiz. The first of the two questions was pretty straightforward but the second one completely had me lost. It asked for the lattice parameter, which I had no idea what that was but eventually figured out it was something a lot simpler than I thought. Feeling pretty good about the quiz made me forget a little bit about the exam and left me pretty relieved since we would have no more quizzes or tests for a month.
After that I think everyone was really to just have a day to relax so I watched a few episodes of American Horror story since I left for China with only a few episodes left in the second season. That was the first TV show I think I have watched since being in China so that was pretty nice. The rest of the day I literally just bummed around and enjoyed having nothing to do or worry about.
