Today has been another lazy day. It is pretty hard to be motivated when you don’t have any class. I slept in until about 11 and then had an overdue Skype session with Benjamin and then headed over to the dinning courts for lunch. After that I did a lot of catching up on blogging and then unfortunately our teacher uploaded the 2 lectures that we were behind on so I had to do those.
By the time I got done with those, it was time for dinner and to once again head over to the dining court. I was a little more adventurous with my food selection today and went over to the Szechuan food. John told me that he was 100% sure that this one dish was eggplant so I went for it but I am 100% sure it most definitely not eggplant. I couldn’t quite decide and didn’t want to try it enough times to figure it out, but I am pretty sure it was some sort of squid that was not very tasty. Luckily I had also gotten some spicy chicken and potato dish that was pretty spicy but really good.
After dinner I spent some more time catching up on my blog until Adam came in to apparently ask for some tape, which turned into a few hours of hanging out with a pretty big group of people in my room. For whatever reason everyone was pretty slaphappy which made the whole night pretty funny and drinking coffee at 9:00 probably didn’t help my case either. We watched some videos and Adam drew inappropriate pictures on my wall with his shoe soles that luckily wiped off. We also did a little planning into some of our future trips, which we decided Beijing is a must so we are looking into going in the next few weeks. Other than that, we just did a lot of goofing off until we were all ready for bed so we could get up at a decent hour in the morning.
