Day 28, January 31, 2013 When in China...

Today I was feeling rebellious and decided to skip class. By skip, I mean I felt really sick and decided some extra sleep wouldn’t be a bad idea so I told my teacher, who was very understanding. As Bryan was walking out the door to class he yelled at me that I had to send him text updates on the IU vs Purdue basketball game that I didn’t even realize was on in about an hour. I found the Notre Dame game but after an hour of searching gave up on finding the Purdue game and settled for a gamecast.

After a disappointing game I did some reading for my next class and by then everyone was already back for the lunch break, which was unfortunate because I was hoping to get in a nap. Bryan was nice enough to bring me a noodle bowl, which made me feel a little better. After class I knocked out my portion of this group paper we had to write and then got some street noodles for dinner. Adam was even nice to share some of his peanut butter for dessert, which was a pretty interesting process. He spooned it onto my styrofoam bowl with a hotel comb and I proceeded to eat it off of the styrofoam with chopsticks, which I must say is the weirdest way I have ever eaten peanut butter. I guess this is one of those times I can say when in China? Anyway, the delicious peanut butter aside, I spent the rest of the night catching up on some online lectures and then headed to bed because our field trip got moved from 1 in the afternoon tomorrow to 7:30 in the morning!
